The movie A Wish, which was directed by Elvis Chucks, has now been released on DVD. It features Funke Akindele, Patience Ozokwo, Hafeez Oyetoro, Helen Paul, Bishop Ime Umoh, Kola Olaiya, Chris Okagbue, IK Ogbonna, and Clara Iweh. It was written by Rita C Onwurah, and it had it’s theatrical release on December 7, 2012.
Synopsis
A Wish is a hilarious movie about a single mother who is a petty trader with no opportunity of education. She has one wish – to be able to see her child go to school, and explore the opportunities she never had. However, fate strikes when she discovers she has a few years to live after being diagnosed with cancer.
